Usually the better option. You keep a copy in your own sent items, you can attach a photo of the packet or the page you're comparing against, and you can follow up on the same thread — none of which a web form gives you.
Accuracy reports are the most useful category of feedback this site gets — if a density figure, substitution ratio, or storage duration doesn't match your own experience or a source you trust, include the specific ingredient, the figure you saw, and (if you have one) the source you're comparing it against. Food-safety-related reports (safe cooking temperatures, storage durations) are prioritized first.
